Valerie Perez (Paula Perillo)
This gorgeous actress/model first achieved celebrity by playing video game heroine Lara Croft in the self-produced Tomb Raider adventure Tears of the Dragon. Well-known for her ability to portray strong, attractive heroines, she has posed for Femmes Fatales, appeared in numerous television and film projects, and modeled for many renowned comic book artists. She was the first actress to play Paula Peril on film in Atlantis Studios' Trapped in the Flames and has continued to define the role in Mystery of the Crystal Falcon and The Invisible Evil.
Stephen Hanthorn (Jimmy Smith)
Stephen Hanthorn grew up in the Atlanta area and attended the Cobb County Center for the Performing Arts. He graduated in 2010 from Wright University in Ohio with a BFA in Acting. He studied theater with the Stella Adler Acting Studio in New York, and worked with the Atlanta Shakespeare Company from 2010-2011. He is extensively trained in Stage Combat and is skilled in unarmed, single sword, rapier, and dagger. He contributed his expertise to many of the fight sequences in Paula Peril: Midnight Whistle.
Hayley Tarkenton (Veronica Vilancourt)
Hayley Tarkenton is a talented actress and model who has appeared in a number of television and feature film productions, including Mean Girls 2, Hall Pass, and Meet the Browns. She is a student of acting and theater, but also a talented pianist, singer and dancer. Hayley has appeared in musical productions in the Atlanta area, including The Sound of Music.
Drew Giles (Lawrence Scott)
Drew Giles is experienced in playing character parts on stage and on film. He has a BFA in Theatre from Valdosta State University, and performed in the World Premiere play 'Holler Me Home' by Deborah Fordham, a writer and producer of the hit show Scrubs. Currently he teaches acting for film for Casting Georgia and is in the process of creating his own film company.
James Connor (Slim Jackson)
James Connor comes from the South Carolina low country, and has appeared in several theatrical productions in the Atlanta area. He received his BA in Theatre from Francis Marion College and Ball State University, where he was nominated for an Irene Ryan Scholarship. James loves the challenges of live theatre, and is pleased to have the opportunity to perform in his first film role. Besides being a self described foodie, cook and gardener, he also enjoys playing guitar.
Sam Gentry (Vince Vincelli)
Sam Gentry is an up and coming newcomer to film industry. Formally trained as an aerospace and aeronautics engineer, he is a popular actor and performer in the Atlanta area theater scene. Most recently he has appeared in Seussical the Musical, I Love You, Youre Perfect, Now Change and Fairburns Southside Theatre Guilds production of Greater Tuna.
Jason Winn, Director
Jason Winn is an award-winning director that makes it is his mission to entertain, enlighten and inform his audience. He believes in developing quality entertainment without compromising his artistic vision.
Jason is the director of The Fat Boy Chronicles, a feature film being released nationally by Melee Entertainment and Phase 4, adapted from the acclaimed teen novel. The Fat Boy Chronicles was awarded Best Feature at the Central Florida Film Festival, and has been nominated for similar awards in other festivals around the country. The film is currently being used in schools around the country to help combat the problems with teenage obesity and bullying.
Winn's work also includes the acclaimed narrative short Last Bullet, a story depicting two American soldiers caught in a life or death situation where an anguished decision decides which friend will live. This film won for Best Short Film, and Best Director. The film is now available for download on www.indieflix.com .
His directing and producing credits include a pilot for Turner Television along with a national ad campaign featuring basketball legend Bobby Knight, NFL quarterback Vince Young and NBA stars Steve Nash and Carmelo Anthony.
Chris Schulte, Producer
Chris Schulte is co-founder, Producer, and Creative Director for Exit Left Films. He has brought his extensive experience as Producer and Creative Director to creating film, television, and video for narrative and corporate clients alike. After graduating from film school with an emphasis in Directing he moved out to LA where he worked as Production Assistant for DreamWorks and later as a Project Manager and Assistant to various film directors and actors like Steven Spielberg and Mike Myers. Later Chris worked as a Directors Assistant for various studios like Fox and Sony before moving to Atlanta to start a family. Chris now leads the creative team at Exit Left. He believes in utilizing the abilities of his team in a creative, collaborative and enthusiastic process which challenges them to always raise the bar.
James Nation, Director of Photography
James Nation is a Director of Photography for Exit Left, LLC. James has a strong body of work in commercials, films, music videos and corporate communications. Regardless of the project, it is his goal to create images that will not only tell the story, but that will affect the viewer on a subliminal level. James is a storyteller first. His work must support the story and help tell it in the most powerful way possible. This is the core principle behind his work. He understands the chaotic nature of production and knows how to find those opportune moments to capture the nature of each project.
Octavio Hernandez Garcia, Motion Graphics
Octavio is the motion man for Exit Left, LLC. He enjoys creating visuals that successfully fulfill a purpose and at the same time demonstrate an exercise in creativity, professionalism and hard work. Octavio comes to Exit Left from Monterrey, Mexico, and is pursuing coursework at SCAD in Atlanta. He has pushed himself into motion graphics ever since laying eyes on programs like After Effects. With a degree in graphic design, it is his intention to become a motion media artist that never stops creating and playing.
